Thanks to its transformerless design and advanced sensing control circuitry, the 9EHD achieves an efficiency rating of up to 98%, making it one of the most energy-efficient uninterruptible power supplies in its class while also providing robust load protection. Unlike most high-efficiency UPS systems, the 9EHD offers the following features:

• Identify the location of the fault (utility or load), then take appropriate measures.
• Switching to dual-conversion mode takes less than 4 milliseconds, ensuring high system efficiency and reduced power loss.
It reduces utility costs, extends battery runtime, and ensures lower operating temperatures.
Outstanding power performance and true reliability—active power factor correction (PFC) delivers an input power factor of 0.9 and an ITHD of less than 5%, thereby eliminating interference with other critical equipment. The following features further reduce the total cost of ownership:

Industrial-grade uninterruptible power supplies are designed in accordance with stringent industrial standards. For industrial applications, Eaton has chosen a double-conversion online topology equipped with a static bypass switch. This configuration effectively safeguards against various power disturbances that may occur in the power grid. All of Eaton’s UPS systems undergo rigorous testing and certification to meet relevant safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. Critical loads may require additional protection; therefore, all three-phase systems can be connected in parallel redundancy configurations. In such a system, two or more UPS units supply power to the same load. If one of the UPS units fails, the faulty unit will automatically disconnect from the load, while the remaining units continue to provide uninterrupted power to the load. This redundancy configuration ensures exceptionally high system-level reliability. -
