Xiwei AVY Series Synchronization/ Function of the Variable Frequency Drive Dedicated to Asynchronous Elevators
The Italian SIEI-specific elevator variable-frequency drives have been widely adopted in China’s elevator and crane industries for many years. Thanks to their excellent cost-performance ratio, they have won the favor of numerous users. 1. Door zone position control and early door-opening function
After detecting the leveling light switch activation, the variable-frequency drive will decelerate according to the curve preset internally and come to a stop at the leveling point. At the same time, the output of the variable-frequency drive will enable the [ ] bypass contactor to close, allowing the elevator to open its doors ahead of time, thereby significantly improving the elevator’s operational efficiency.
2. Braking Feedback Detection Function
Whether the elevator is in standby mode or running, the frequency converter will continuously monitor the brake status. Once it detects that the brake is in an abnormal state, the frequency converter will trigger an alarm.
3. Contactor Feedback Detection Function
Whether the elevator is in standby mode or running, the frequency converter will monitor the status of the output contactor. Once the contactor is found to be in an abnormal state, the frequency converter will trigger an alarm.
4. Once the variable frequency drive detects that the actual speed differs from the given speed, it will immediately disconnect the safety circuit and issue an alarm.
5. Grid Voltage Fluctuation Detection
Within a certain period, if the grid voltage experiences continuous fluctuations, the frequency converter will automatically trigger an alarm.
6. Pre-torque function
SIEI variable-frequency drives provide smoother elevator starts thanks to their torque output.
7. Power-off auto-leveling function
Elevators can achieve automatic leveling using either UPS or DC power.
8. Motor self-learning or encoder positioning function
Motor self-learning or encoder positioning can be achieved without removing the steel wire rope or opening the brake.
