● Employs a double-conversion topology. The Eaton 9PX continuously monitors power conditions and adjusts voltage and frequency as needed.
● With an online double-conversion mode boasting an efficiency of up to 95% and a high-efficiency mode at 98%, the 9PX delivers industry-leading output efficiency among products in its class, effectively reducing energy consumption and cooling costs.
● With an output power factor reaching 0.9, the 9PX can supply 28% more electrical power to the load compared to similar products. Compared to other UPS products with comparable VA ratings and lower power factors, the 9PX can power a greater number of servers.
● Featuring a rack-mountable, tower-style interchangeable architecture, the 9PX offers a high-power-density solution among products in its class. The 5,400W model measures just 3U in height, while the 10kW model stands at only 6U.
Easy to manage
● A brand-new graphical LCD display clearly shows the UPS’s operating status and measurement data on a single screen (in 7 languages). The LCD display’s position is adjustable, ensuring an optimal viewing angle whether the UPS is used in tower or rack-mounted configurations.
● The 9PX features energy consumption metering capabilities and can use an LCD or Eaton’s Intelligent Power Management Suite IPP/IPM to monitor and read KWh values.
● Thanks to the load partitioning feature, non-critical loads can be shut down first to ensure extended battery backup time for critical loads. Relatively Dahua can also be used for remotely restarting locked network devices or managing scheduled shutdowns and sequential startups, among other tasks.
● The 9PX offers serial, USB, and relay connection options, and is equipped with a smart slot for installing optional expansion cards. The Eaton Smart Power Management Suite is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualization software such as VMware and Hyper-V.

● In the event of an internal failure, the built-in bypass ensures business continuity. Additionally, a maintenance bypass is provided (standard in the HotSwap version), allowing UPS replacement without interrupting power to critical systems.
● The Eaton 9PX can be configured in parallel, leveraging HotSync technology to achieve twice the power capacity of a single unit—without incurring additional initial procurement costs (released in the second quarter of 2014).
● Stronger performance and longer battery life: Eaton’s ABM® battery management technology employs an innovative three-stage charging process, boosting battery lifespan by up to 50%.
● Up to 12 external hot-swappable battery modules can be added to extend the runtime, enabling the system to operate for several hours if necessary. The UPS can automatically recognize newly added battery modules.
