The Eaton 5P UPS is a next-generation online interactive UPS with an overall efficiency of up to 98%. With the optional network card and Eaton’s Intelligent Power® software suite, which is compatible with all mainstream operating systems, seamless integration with virtualization software such as VMware and Hyper-V is possible. -
Easy to manage
● A brand-new visual LCD display that clearly shows the UPS’s status and parameter information (seven languages available). The enhanced feature set can also be easily operated via convenient navigation keys.
● A first in the industry, the 5P UPS can optimize management of output outlet groups by measuring energy consumption. The kWh data can be monitored via the LCD display or Eaton’s intelligent monitoring software IPP/IPM.
● Load segment control allows non-critical devices to be shut down first, ensuring that battery power is maximized to provide the longest possible power supply to critical devices. Load segment settings can also be used to remotely reboot locked network devices or to schedule timed shutdowns and sequential power-ups.
● The 5P UPS provides a serial port and USB connectivity, as well as an additional slot that can accommodate optional communication card accessories (including SNMP cards or relay cards). Eaton’s IPP/IPM software is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.

● The 5P UPS features an optimized electrical design with an efficiency of up to 98%, significantly reducing cooling and power costs.
● Pure sine-wave output. In battery mode, the 5P UPS can provide high-quality signal output for any connected sensitive equipment—such as servers with active power factor correction.
● The input range and sensitivity are adjustable. Users can set the acceptable voltage range or waveform sensitivity via the LCD display or Eaton’s intelligent monitoring software IPP/IPM, depending on the specific application environment (such as a generator set), thereby reducing battery-mode operating time and significantly extending battery life.
High availability, high flexibility
● The 5P UPS is available in two models: tower and 1U rack-mount. Among these, the 1.1kW rack-mount model boasts a height of just 1U, offering customers exceptionally high power density.
● Enhanced power and longer battery life: Eaton’s ABM® battery management technology employs an innovative three-stage battery charging process that ensures batteries are charged only when necessary, reducing battery corrosion and extending battery life by 50%.
● The battery supports hot-swapping without needing to shut down the connected equipment. If a hot-swappable maintenance bypass module is optionally installed, you can even replace the entire UPS without having to shut down the connected equipment.
