The Eaton 5PX rack-mount/tower UPS is a next-generation online interactive UPS.
Equipped with an intuitive LCD display, it measures energy consumption down to the outlet-group level, achieving an efficiency rate of up to 99%. It also supports plug-and-play battery module expansion for extended runtime. Combined with Eaton’s power management software, it enables centralized power management under virtualized operating systems.

The Eaton 5PX UPS can be equipped with four external hot-swappable battery modules to extend its runtime, allowing the operating time to be extended to several hours when needed. The UPS can automatically recognize the additionally installed battery modules. -
Easy to manage
● A brand-new visual LCD display clearly shows the UPS’s status and parameter information (seven languages available). The enhanced feature set can also be easily operated via convenient navigation keys.
● A first in the industry, the 5PX UPS can optimize management of output outlet groups by measuring energy consumption. KWh data can be monitored via the LCD display or Eaton’s intelligent monitoring software IPP/IPM.
● Load segment control allows non-critical devices to be shut down first, ensuring that battery power is maximized to provide the longest possible power supply to critical devices. Load segment settings can also be used to remotely reboot locked network devices or to schedule timed shutdowns and sequential power-ups.
● The 5PX UPS offers both a serial port and a USB connection, as well as an additional slot that can accommodate optional communication card accessories (including SNMP cards or relay cards). Eaton’s IPP/IPM software is compatible with all major operating systems, including virtualization systems such as VMware and Hyper-V.

● The 5PX UPS features an optimized electrical design with an efficiency of up to 99%, significantly reducing cooling and electricity costs.
● The 5PX UPS has a power factor of 0.9, resulting in higher actual output power. Compared to UPSs with the same apparent power rating but lower power factors, the 5PX UPS can power more servers. The 5PX UPS is compatible with all current IT equipment.
● In battery mode, the 5PX UPS can provide high-quality signal output for any connected sensitive equipment, such as servers with active power factor correction.
High availability, high flexibility
● The 5PX UPS supports rack/tower installation, and all models come with a base and rack-mount kit included at no extra cost.
● Enhanced power and longer battery life: Eaton’s ABM® battery management technology employs an innovative three-stage battery charging process that ensures batteries are charged only when necessary, reducing battery corrosion and extending battery life by 50%.
● The battery supports hot-swapping without needing to shut down the connected equipment. If a hot-swappable maintenance bypass module is optionally equipped, you can even replace the entire UPS without having to shut down the connected devices.
● Up to four external hot-swappable battery modules can be added simultaneously to extend the operating time, enabling the system to remain powered for several hours. The UPS can automatically recognize the added battery packs.
