Construction of a Dual-Temperature Cold Storage Facility

隐藏域元素占位

The construction of a dual-temperature cold storage facility refers to dividing a single cold storage room into two separate compartments with partitions, each maintained at a different temperature. Each compartment is equipped with its own set of doors. By designing different temperature settings according to the storage requirements of various food products, this system can simultaneously achieve both fresh-keeping and refrigeration functions. A single centralized refrigeration unit provides cooling for both compartments, with two evaporators operating simultaneously. The temperature control system independently monitors and regulates the temperature in each compartment. Since the system employs a single-unit, dual-control approach, the refrigeration unit will only shut down one compartment once its temperature reaches the preset level; it will continue cooling the other compartment until that compartment also reaches its target temperature. Before startup, if one compartment’s temperature first reaches the preset level, the automatic control system will direct the refrigeration unit to start cooling that particular compartment. I. Design Temperatures for Dual-Temperature Cold Storage: 1. Fresh-Keeping Compartment: 0℃ to +8℃ 2. Refrigeration Compartment: -15℃ to -18℃ II. Cold Storage Structure: The insulated structure is constructed using polyurethane insulation panels, with a surface layer made of coated steel plates or other metal materials. This combination leverages the material’s excellent thermal insulation properties and robust mechanical strength. The structure features easy and quick assembly, long service life, simple maintenance, low cost, and high strength yet lightweight—making it the optimal choice for cold storage insulation. III. Key Design Features of Dual-Temperature Cold Storage: 1. Refrigeration Unit: A single centralized refrigeration unit is used to supply cooling, reducing operational costs and minimizing failures. The unit is sourced from either domestic or imported original brands. All major components of the cold storage are selected from well-known domestic and international brands, ensuring a rational configuration, stable operation, energy efficiency, and superior quality. 2. Evaporators: High-efficiency ceiling-mounted evaporators or finned tube evaporators are employed. 3. Control System: An advanced microcomputer control system with cutting-edge control methods is utilized. The system features an LCD display showing the internal temperature, startup time, defrosting duration, fan delay time, alarm indications, and other technical parameters. The system is simple to operate and extremely user-friendly. 4. Cold Storage Panels: High-quality double-sided color-coated polyurethane panels are used. These panels occupy a small footprint while providing excellent thermal insulation. Panel thicknesses typically range from 100mm, 150mm, to 200mm, using polyurethane insulation material. Both sides are coated with color-coated steel sheets, which are processed with hidden grooves. The panels are lightweight yet highly durable, offering superior thermal insulation, corrosion resistance, and anti-aging performance. Their easy and rapid assembly makes them the ideal choice for cold storage insulation structures. 5. A conventional refrigerated storage facility generally refers to any cold storage facility other than controlled-atmosphere storage facilities. Such facilities typically feature prefabricated cold-storage units, which consist of a steel-frame structure supplemented by insulated walls, roof panels, and floor frames, ensuring that the unit meets requirements for thermal insulation, moisture resistance, and temperature reduction. The thermal insulation in prefabricated cold-storage units mainly comprises insulated wall panels, roof panels (ceiling panels), floor panels, doors, support plates, and bases—all of which are assembled and secured using specially designed male-female hook-and-loop fasteners, thereby guaranteeing excellent thermal insulation and air-tightness. In the construction of conventional refrigerated storage facilities, the cold-storage doors must not only open and close flexibly but also seal tightly and operate reliably. Additionally, wooden components inside the cold-storage doors should undergo thorough drying and anti-corrosion treatments. Cold-storage doors must be equipped with locks and handles, as well as safety release mechanisms. For low-temperature cold-storage facilities, electric heaters with voltages below 24V should be installed on the door frames to prevent condensation and dew formation. Moisture-proof lights should be installed inside the storage facility, and temperature-sensing elements should be placed evenly throughout the interior; their temperature displays should be positioned on the exterior wall panels in easily observable locations. All chrome-plated or galvanized surfaces must be uniformly coated, and all welded and connected parts must be robust and moisture-resistant. In addition to having sufficient load-bearing capacity, the floor panels of large prefabricated cold-storage facilities should also accommodate the smooth entry and exit of loading and unloading equipment. The four most common types of conventional refrigerated storage facilities are: 1. Fresh-Keeping Storage Facilities: These facilities are designed specifically for preserving the freshness of agricultural products. They can maximize the retention of produce’s freshness, ensuring that after a period of storage, the products remain as vibrant and high-quality as when they were freshly harvested or nearly so. 2. Meat Refrigeration Facilities: These facilities are used for storing meat products and are suitable for industries involved in the retail and wholesale processing of meat, seafood, poultry, and frozen meats. The types of meat products stored in these facilities include livestock meat, poultry meat, beef, lamb, pork, dog meat, chicken, duck, goose, fish, seafood, and various other meat-based foods. 3. Low-Temperature Storage Facilities: These facilities are used for storing ice cream and seafood, which require temperatures below -25°C to prevent spoilage. If ice cream is stored at temperatures above -25°C, it will lose its aroma; similarly, the fresh taste and texture of seafood will significantly deteriorate.
