— Global energy efficiency management expert Schneider Electric today launched the MGE Galaxy 300i UPS system.
The Galaxy300i is a streamlined and reliable solution designed to protect small and medium-sized enterprises, commercial buildings, and technological facilities. It offers dependable power protection at an exceptionally high cost-performance ratio, while also featuring easy installation, robustness, and durability.
As a three-phase UPS product, the Galaxy 300i fully complies with the European Union’s mandatory “Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS).” When equipped with an output transformer, this product achieves a power efficiency of up to 90.5%, significantly higher than that of similar products with comparable performance. Moreover, from a medium- to long-term perspective, this high power efficiency can effectively reduce operational and cooling costs.
This UPS system employs an online double-conversion topology, ensuring a reliable and stable power supply. At the same time, to further enhance power availability, the Galaxy 300i is equipped with a built-in transformer and an internal mechanical bypass. Combined with the Galaxy 300i’s compact design and ease of installation, this UPS fully meets consumer requirements for three-phase UPS systems in the power range of 10–40 kVA.
Dr. Huang Chenhong, Senior Vice President of Schneider Electric Global and President of APC Greater China, stated: “Based on feedback from our partners and core customers, the availability, reliability, manageability, and convenience of power supplies are the key issues that UPS systems need to address for mid- and low-end power customers. When designing the new Galaxy 300i system, we kept these needs firmly in mind, striving to deliver a UPS system that is easy to install, simple to operate, and highly cost-effective. Such a UPS system is ideal for consumers purchasing three-phase UPS systems for the first time.”
With a simple web/SNMP network management card and a user-friendly interface that supports 18 languages, users can easily monitor and manage power requirements both locally and remotely.
In terms of simplified power distribution, the Galaxy 300i offers “3:3” and “3:1” configurations. Additionally, this product features fully front-access maintenance, allowing for easy repairs even in confined spaces, thereby significantly enhancing the Galaxy 300i’s maintainability.
